Eligibility :

1. 12th pass or equivalent
2. Lateral entry (Direct 2nd year): Candidates with a 3-year diploma in Fashion Design/Garment technology from a recognised board eligible.

International students seeking admission to the B.Sc. Fashion Design program at SIFT, Pune (affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University – SPPU), must follow the steps outlined below:

Step 1: Apply Through the International Centre, SPPU

• All foreign nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) must apply through the International Centre of SPPU.
• Application portal: https://www.unipune.ac.in → International Students section.

Step 2: Eligibility Check

• Must have completed 12 years of schooling (equivalent to Indian Class 12) with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade.
• Subjects should ideally include English and any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science, or Vocational).
• Students from non-English-speaking countries should submit proof of English proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS/Medium of Instruction certificate).

Step 3: Document Submission

Required documents (attested and translated in English if applicable):

• Statement of Marks / Grade Sheets of 10th and 12th standard.
• Copy of Passport and valid visa.
• Birth certificate.
• Passport-size photographs.
• Proof of residence.
• Medical fitness certificate.
• English proficiency certificate (if applicable).

Step 4: Provisional Admission Letter from SIFT

SIFT will issue a Provisional Admission Letter for visa processing after primary eligibility verification.

Step 5: Eligibility Confirmation by SPPU

Final eligibility is granted after verification by SPPU’s International Centre and Board of College and University Development (BCUD).
