SIFT has Organized an exhibition cum sale named F-OTO-WOOD

Suryadatta Institute of Fashion Technology & Mass Communication has Organized an exhibition cum sale named “F-OTO-WOOD.” ( FASHION/PHOTOGRAPHY/BOLLYWOOD) from 20th of December and continued till 22nd of December.

  

The program began with the inauguration ceremony by honorable chief guests Dr. Sanjay Chourdiya -Founder President and Chairman of Suryadatta Education Foundation, Ms. Caroline Andoir de Valter(Fashion Choreography) and Miss Anaida Parvaneh (an Indian actor , director, producer, pop/playback singer.) and Mr. Adinath Kothare with the crew of “Avatarachi Goshta” Caroline Audoir de Valter is a native of Canada and a graduate in “fashion marketing” from the Renowned fashion school LaSalle College in Montreal, Canada. She worked for more than 10 years in the fashion industry. She then decided to pursue a freelance career has a “fashion stylist” for many leading brand such LaPerla, Piaggio, Police, Armani to name a few and worked with magazines such as Amica, Elle and Vogue. She then became the “collection manager” for the renowned brand Ballyby establishing the” Pret a porter” collection.

Anaida is an Indian performer, actor, director, producer, pop and playback singer, multi-linguist, advertising conceptualize, creative exponent of fine arts, writer/poet and painter. Anaida has been an integral part of the Indian Entertainment Industry for almost 17 years. After the inauguration the guests were escorted to the classrooms where the assignments of the students were showcased followed by an exhibition cum sale where the students exhibited their hand-made products. There are a variety of products and stalls which caught people’s eye such as tattoo, mehendi, hair braiding, neck pieces, greeting cards ,non alcoholic body sprays, moisturizer, paper quelling, jeweler, crochet frocks, chappals and hair pins, envelopes, M-seal bowls frames and kurtis, jeweler boxes, saree pins, mural, batwa and much more. Moreover, the mass communication students displayed their photography skill along with a short documentary film which inspired may people.

The exhibition continued till 22nd of December and many people which includes family, friends and students from other colleges attended this exhibition and encouraged students by giving their positive feedback. It was a great experience for the students.

Suryadattas Students win second prize at National level Technocrat Event at Ahmedabad

The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) is India's leading professional Society. Established in 1953 by a group of pioneers in the field of Electronics, Telecommunication and related disciplines, IETE today has more than 70,000 members spread all over India. IETE, through its members & 158 Centres, provides leadership and professional fulfillment to aspiring engineers in the field of Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Science and Information Technology. It also conducts and sponsors technical conferences, symposia and also publishes technical papers along with continuing education 10 its degree and diploma student members.

The IETE had organized an exhibition & convention on Information & Communication Technology (ICT) Products & Services from 22nd – 25th September, 2011 at Ahmedabad aimed at showcasing subsystem products, models, photographs, modules, 10 Services for rural development with various vendors, R&D Organisations, Government agencies and users.

Suryadatta’s 10 students actively participated at this event. The convention started from 22nd September. This day was allocated to various technical games & quizzes like Roborace, Roberta, Robomase, Line follower, Code Debugging , Circuit Debugging and Debate, Paper Presentation, poster presentation etc for the students. Students from Suryadatta, Binay Modi & Swati Patil won the second prize at the Technocrat Event in Code Debugging. There were total 118 teams from cities like Ahmedabad, Delhi, Vadodara, Pune, Bangalore,Guwahati, Chennai participating in these events.

The students had a good opportunity to interact with students & professionals from other Institutes and Industries. It was also a good Industry- Institute Interface exposure for them and all of them have immensely benefited from it.
