Every year, Suryadatta Institute of Fashion Technology presents a creative and one of its kind Fashion Show, ‘La Classe Runway Fashion Show’. This event is based on any one theme and the students of this institute work collectively and display their creativity by designing and stitching garments based on the theme.
This year, we are organizing our 11th Annual Runway Show, ‘La Classé’ on 8th Feb 2023 at our Bavdhan Campus, Pune. The Fashion Show is based on the theme, ‘Indian Tribes’. Students have created a range of Modern Costumes with traditional accessories which represent Past, Present & future journeys of the Indian Tribes. ‘SPARK 2023’of 2100 unique handcrafted articles and merchandise of Khadi fabric which are innovated, designed, and prepared by our students pursuing BSc in Fashion Designing from Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) from 24th March 2023 to 26th March 2023 at our Suryadatta Bavdhan, Pune campus..This unique exhibition, probably first time in India, focuses on the creative use of eco-friendly natural fabric, Khadi and also is the source of inspiration to achieve the dream of Atma Nirbhar Bharat. Suryadatta consistently takes effort to imbibe the sense of patriotism in the students by arranging such events that not only brings patriotic spirit in the students but also moulds them to be future entrepreneurs, thereby creating employment and contributing to the Nation to make it Self – Reliant. click here..

We, Suryadatta Institute of Fashion Technology, present a very innovative and one of a kind Annual Exhibition every year by the name of ‘Spark’. This year, students of the Fashion Design Degree Program will be showcasing their creativity by designing and developing the products under the theme ‘Swadesh to Videsh’. Our students have worked hard to create a range of unique products to portray the countless ways in which Khadi fabric has evolved over the times.
Khadi being a handspun as well as hand woven fabric, the students have hand crafted a huge range of articles never seen before for display and sale. Also this year being the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the great propagator of the Khadi fabric, we feel privileged to inaugurate and promote the Pride of Nation - Khadi fabric through the ‘Spark 2020’, on Saturday 8th February 2020 at 5:00 pm. Suryadatta Institute of Fashion Technology (SIFT) in its effort to contribute towards Nation building, promoting Indian culture and also taking Khadi to global platforms has decided to represent ‘Swadesh to Videsh ’ through our annual exhibition.
The exhibition is open to all from 9th to 11th Feb 2020 in between 10am to 8pm at Suryadatta Group of Institute Bavdhan campus Pune. Looking forward to seeing your presence at the exhibition.
